Here’s When Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Tickets Go On Sale

Lucasfilm may have just recently confirmed when it's going to release the first full trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, but when exactly are the tickets for Episode IX going to go on sale?

The full-length trailer for Episode IX is scheduled to air during the half-time in the New York Jets and New England Patriot's game set for ESPN's Monday Night Football today and according to Deadline, the tickets are going to start going on sale right after the Lucasfilm releases the video.

"It's the end of an era, and fans cannot wait to see the epic conclusion to the Skywalker saga that began more than four decades ago," Fandango Managing Editor Erik Davis says. "The Rise of Skywalker is truly among the biggest and most anticipated films ever, and we are beyond excited to see how this momentous chapter in Star Wars storytelling nears its end."

Guess Star Wars fans have a lot to look forward to today. Everyone's been patiently waiting for Lucasfilm to release Episode IX's very first full trailer the past few months. Sure, the studio might have been dropping a few teaser videos here and there, but the fan base has been itching to know more about what to expect from The Rise of Skywalker. How exactly is Emperor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid) going to return in the film? Will Rey (Daisy Ridley) really be swayed by the Dark Side? What about Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and his path towards redemption? Will the wayward son of Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Leia (Carrie Fisher) ever find his way back to the light?

Let's wait and see.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premieres December 20, 2019.
