Star Wars: Episode IX Cinematographer Teases Monday Night Trailer

Fans are excited to see J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which is only two months away from its premiere. A lot of people are looking forward to the release of the final trailer for Episode IX which is confirmed to air during the Monday Night Football. A cinematographer for the film adds to the excitement by teasing the trailer.

Dan Mindel, the cinematographer for TROS, took to Instagram to offer a glimpse of the final trailer. He uploaded a photo of a projector with a hazy image that shows a sneak-peek of the upcoming trailer. He wrote, "Company 3 projection…" He added that Stefan Grube was "at the controls" for the trailer and mentioned that it is looking "fabulous." You can check out the photo below.

Some fans suspect that the hazy image shows an eye, with others thinking the eye is of Palpatine's. Some think that it's an X-wing. Regardless, we would find out soon when the trailer gets released.

If you recall, Mindel was the director of photography for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. A lot of fans love his work and they are looking forward to seeing an amazing trailer for TROS. However, the trailer's contents are not yet known and it isn't clear whether or not the trailer will provide more details regarding the plot.

The Monday Night Football will air on ESPN on October 21 and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premieres on December 20.
