Henry Cavill might be busy playing the DC Extended Universe's Superman, however, earlier this week the British actor expressed interest in playing Geralt of Rivia in the live-action web television series adaptation of the video game, The Witcher.
Though we're not really sure whether the comic book movie actor might end up becoming the White Wolf in Netflix's live-action The Witcher series, graphic artist BossLogic has a new art piece that gives fans a glimpse of what Cavill might look like if he does get the part.
Check it out down here:
Geralt might be an older man, but BossLogic's editing certainly adds some age to Cavill's face in the image, making him look like he was pretty fit for the role. Known for his role as the DCEU's Superman, Cavill has also made a name for himself starring in other action movies like Guy Ritchie's The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and the most recent installment in the Mission: Impossible franchise, Mission: Impossible – Fallout.
Though The Witcher showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich has yet to cast the role of Geralt, having Cavill play the part would definitely add to the star power of the upcoming Netflix series. Besides, the DCEU star is pretty much a self-confessed fan of the books, and a Witcher gamer to boot.
The Witcher doesn't have a release date just yet but we'll let everyone know as soon as we get word.
