Here's How Hayden Christensen's Anakin Skywalker can be Brought Back in Obi-Wan Series

In case you missed it, there have been reports that Hayden Christensen could reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series. However, some Star Wars fans have been skeptical about the idea considering that the Disney+ show is supposed to take place after Anakin has turned into Darth Vader. So how exactly will the series deal with Anakin's return? There are several theories on how we can expect a reunion between Christensen and former co-star Ewan McGregor.

It was previously reported that Christensen would play a huge role in the Obi-Wan series and that his involvement would be announced on Star Wars Day. Sadly, the event was cancelled and it is believed that Disney and Lucasfilm are waiting for the right time to confirm the news.

So what could Christensen's involvement in the Obi-Wan show mean? Some believe that it means Darth Vader will be a major part of the series. However, this wouldn't make sense considering that Vader and Obi-Wan don't see each other again until A New Hope.

Interestingly, there is still a way to explain how Anakin will show up in the show. A theory suggests that there will be several flashbacks to the time when Anakin was still training under Obi-Wan. Of course, this would need major de-aging technology since Christensen is a lot older now but it wouldn't be a surprise if Disney and Lucasfilm go for this option.

Do you think Anakin should be a part of the Obi-Wan series? Sound off in the comments below.
