Last week, Disney's deal to buy Fox for $71.3 billion was confirmed after shareholders from both companies voted, so that means Disney will soon acquire the television and film properties of Fox, including the Marvel properties like X-Men, Deadpool, and Fantastic Four. Those are some popular titles. Of course, Disney will also control all of the distribution rights for the original Star Wars trilogy. It would be interesting to see how Disney plans to expand on some of these properties. Hopefully, they won't make them worse. I'm just excited to see the Fantastic Four and X-Men join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
