Henry Cavill Says Geralt Will Get Naked in The Witcher Season 2 But There's A Catch

People are already looking forward to The Witcher Season 2 for their own reasons. However, some fans are hoping that the second season also means more of Geralt of Rivia relaxing in a bathtub. So can we expect to see a shirtless White Wolf later this year? Henry Cavill stated that Geralt could go nude again for this season, but there's a catch.

Fans loved the first season of The Witcher because of all the action and awesome references to the books and video games. On the other hand, it may have been the bathtub scene that pays tribute to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (but with a much bigger tub).

So what are the chances that Geralt will get naked again in The Witcher Season 2? Cavill recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter where he indicated that it's possible but it's not just going to be some gratuitous scene to please the fans.

"It would have to be particular, it would have to be specific to the storytelling," Cavill said.

It's not a yes but it's not necessarily a no, either. We can't think of an important story arc that would require Geralt of Rivia to remove his shirt before preparing to fight a few monsters. However, it should make the second season a lot more interesting for viewers.

The Witcher Season 2 will follow Geralt as he brings Ciri to Kaer Morhen where she could begin training. We will also find out what happened to Yennefer after the Battle of Sodden Hill. But will Geralt and Ciri find Yennefer and save her from her captors? The truth will be revealed later this December.

The Witcher Season 2 also brings back Freya Allan as Ciri and Anya Chalotra as Yennefer. The new season premieres on Netflix on December 17, 2021.
