Henry Cavill Reveals Geralt Transformation in The Witcher Season 2 BTS Photo

In case you missed it, The Witcher Season 2 has finally resumed production after several months of delay. Although we have yet to find out what will happen in the next chapter of the Netflix series, we can now see how Henry Cavill transforms into himself after a full day of being Geralt of Rivia.

Cavill shared the behind-the-scenes look from the set of The Witcher Season 2 on his official Instagram account. Check it out below.

"No bald cap this year. Just pounds of 2 types of medical tape and some glue.... Removal is a joy. Jacqui and Ailbhe here, though, have the deft touch of angels. Jacqui more so an Angel of Vengeance, but that's all part of her charm," Cavill wrote.

Who says being an actor is a fancy job? The image confirms that Cavill is willing to get downright dirty and muddy for the role. Needless to say, we're already excited for the second season of The Witcher.

Although it looks like Cavill isn't wearing a mask and the makeup artists aren't exactly practicing social distancing, fans can rest assured that the cast and crew are taking all the safety measures while at work. Showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich has previously shared images from the set confirming that everyone is wearing the proper PPEs while working.

The Witcher Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date and there have been concerns that the second season will be delayed. Nevertheless, fans are already expecting the show to return on Netflix by 2021.
