Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill Feature in First Teaser and Poster for Netflix’s Enola Holmes

While there is news of a third Sherlock Holmes movie incoming with Robert Downey Jr. set to return, Netflix is set to premiere a film that focuses on the super sleuth's lesser-known sister, Enola Holmes. Just in, we have a new teaser for the film, as well as a poster.

Check it out:

Here's the synopsis:

When Enola Holmes-Sherlock's teen sister-discovers her mother missing, she sets off to find her, becoming a super-sleuth in her own right as she outwits her famous brother and unravels a dangerous conspiracy around a mysterious young Lord.

The movie is actually based on series of books from Nancy Springer called The Enola Holmes Mysteries, and it's possible that Netflix is planning a trilogy out of this title, what with six books of source material they have on hand.

As you can see, the film is full of stars, specifically Netflix A-listers like Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) playing Enola and Henry Cavill (The Witcher) playing the part of Sherlock Holmes. Besides the two, you have Sam Claflin playing Sherlock's older brother Mycroft and Helena Bonham Carter playing the Holmes matriarch.

If anything, it already looks like a fun kids' film, and I have a feeling there's going to be a lot of fourth-wall-breaking; something Sherlock doesn't really do in his countless adaptations. I'm also eager to see Brown exercise her acting chops. I mean, she does good with Eleven, but can she pull off someone more ‘personable' like Enola?

Enola Holmes hits Netflix on Sept. 23.
