Earlier today, word broke out that Henry Cavill would be hanging up his cape as the DC Extended Universe's Superman. Now, after so many news reports and rumors about the affair have started circulating online, it looks like Cavill has finally decided to respond to the report that he'll be leaving his Superman role behind.
Taking to Instagram, the Man of Steel and Mission: Impossible – Fallout star shared a cryptic video of himself responding to reports of his alleged resignation as Superman, without saying anything much at all. Cavill doesn't say anything in the video – instead, he raises a figure of himself as Superman and then lowers it out of the screen.
"Today was exciting #Superman," the caption of Cavill's post reads.

Though the Instagram post doesn't confirm or deny any of the reports that have been going around online, it definitely seems like Cavill is responding to all the rumors that have been going around on the internet.
Cavill's manager Dany Garcia has been more direct dealing with the mater, explaining to fans on Twitter that the situation with Warner Brothers was still ongoing. Posting on the social media platform, Garcia tried to assure fans that Cavill's cape was still going to be on the closet.
What do you think about all this hubbub surrounding Cavill? Could Warner Brothers really be letting go of the Superman actor? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
