Is There More Hell's Paradise Material to Cover?
Fans of Hell's Paradise who haven't picked up the manga yet will be pleased to know that there's more than enough material for a second season.
The episodes of Hell's Paradise Season 1 cover about half the manga, which means that a second season is only appropriate.
To break this down a bit, Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku's manga comprises four arcs.
The first two are the Island arc, which covers the early events up until the prisoners' arrival on the island and the formation of the first alliances; and the Lord Tensen arc, which introduces the series' villains.
Following that, we have the Horai arc. In it, the remaining Asaemons and convicts must work together against Lord Tensen.
Finally, the Departure arc follows the survivors as they prepare to depart the island and reclaim their lives.

Will Hell's Paradise Be Renewed for Season 2?
According to the anime's official website, Hell's Paradise has been renewed for Season 2.
Accompanying the announcement was a preview that reviews key scenes from Season 1, introducing a new character, Yamada Asaemon Jugen.
It was also revealed that notable VA Ryouta Suzuki (Bisco Akaboshi in Sabikui Bisco and Juro Kumogakure in Under Ninja) will voice this new character in Season 2.
The first season's finale was as beautiful as it was brutal, and we aren't surprised that Jigokuraku is getting renewed.
In fact, the cat is out of the bag even earlier than we thought for the shounen anime given MAPPA's alleged production and overwork issues lately.
When Will Hell's Paradise Season 2 Come Out?
As of writing, no release date news about Hell's Paradise Season 2 is available, but the anime is likely to continue in 2024.
Since the anime's second season is greenlit, we would expect Season 2 to be released within the next 1-2 years.
Until recently, there had been hopes that the MAPPA Stage 2023 event would come with a major announcement about Hell's Paradise.
Unfortunately, fans were disappointed to find out that there was no announcement for Hell's Paradise Season 2, nor for the highly anticipated Chainsaw Man Season 2.
These worries have now been put to rest as far as Hell's Paradise is concerned, and we hope to be able to share news about the production of the fantasy anime's second season really soon.
Is There a Trailer for Hell's Paradise Season 2?
There's no trailer for Hell's Paradise Season 2 yet, but a new teaser visual featuring Gabimaru was released during the Jump Festa 2024 event in December 2023.
