How Old Is Gabimaru?
You might be surprised to find out that the main protagonist of Hell's Paradise, Gabimaru, is just 16 years old.
This means that Gabimaru mercilessly killed a lot of people at a young age. Moreover, he married very young.
Hell's Paradise is a partly historical anime unfolding during a particularly brutal era.
As such, people were expected to go through all rites of passage earlier in life.
This doesn't make Gabimaru's mastery of martial arts much more possible, but Jigokuraku is still a shounen anime so an overpowered main character doesn't surprise us.
Gabimaru's birthday is on January 8.

How Old Is Sagiri?
Sagiri is also 17 years old. This is a very young age for someone to be an executioner.
That being said, Episode 2 reveals that Sagiri has been exposed to violence from executions performed by her family long before becoming an Asaemon herself.
Her birthday is on December 16.
How Old Is Yui?
At 17, Gabimaru's wife, Yui, is one year his senior. Her birthday is on August 23.

How Old Is Yuzuriha?
Yuzuriha is an infamous Kunoichi whose age is unknown. She's presumably in her late teens or early twenties.
Her birthday is noted as October 11.
How Old Is Senta?
Senta, the Asaemon in charge of Yuzuriha, is another character who must act older than his age, being only 17.
His birthday is on January 20.
How Old Are Toma and Chobei?
Aza Toma and Aza Chobei, also known as the bandit brothers, are 16 and 20 years old respectively.
As expected from such a gory show, the brothers have been through a lot from a young age.
When Chobei got caught and sentenced, Toma infiltrated the Yamada clan to save him.
Chobei is very protective of his younger brother, though Toma also matures quite a bit over the course of the story.
Toma's birthday is on September 21 and Chobei's is on August 4.
How Old Is Fuchi?
Due to his short stature and young-looking face, Fuchi can appear younger than he is at 20 years old. His birthday is on May 20.
How Old Is Tamiya?
Tamiya Gantetsusai is 40 years old. While by no means old, he's senior to the majority of Hell's Paradise characters who are 20 or younger.
His birthday is on November 23.
How Old Is Nurugai?
At 12 years old, Nurugai is the youngest in the cast. Unlike the other convicts, Nurugai didn't commit any crime but rather was a victim and survivor of a major purge.
Nurugai's birthday is on December 25.
How Old Is Tenza?
Like many other characters, Tenza, the Asaemon in charge of Nurugai, is 17 years old. His birthday is on July 22.
How Old Is Shion?
At 27, Shion, the Asaemon who taught Tenza, is only 10 years older than his pupil.
In the setting of Hell's Paradise, this doesn't surprise us given the number of characters who are seasoned warriors at very young ages.
Shion's birthday is on June 13.
