Hellboy fans have certainly been having a field day at this year's New York Comic Con. The cast members of Millennium's upcoming Hellboy reboot attended the film's panel at the convention, and fans got to have David Harbour (Hellboy), Sasha Lane (Alice Monaghan) and Daniel Dae Kim (Ben Daimio) gathered together with Hellboy creator Mike Mignola to answer everyone's questions.
But that's not all. The group also showcased the very first trailer for the movie while they were up on stage, and while fans probably won't see the trailer online for quite some time, Coming Soon has a pretty detailed description of the Hellboy remake.
Starting with a female voiceover saying that "They warned us that something was coming," the two-minute Hellboy trailer begins with a shot of an apartment building in London. Cutting over to what is described as "a huge cavernous fantasy-scape, rocky with a big lake," the scene moves on to "two tiny figures walking on one of the rocky surfaces."
The trailer introduces Harbour's Unwilling Harbinger of the Apocalypse in a scene where Hellboy comes out of an "armored vehicle in front of a museum," accidentally getting shot by the SWAT team who mistakes him as one of their enemies. It's pretty clear that we're going to see some of Hellboy's time in the BPRD.

In between sequences, fans attending the NYCC panel get to hear Professor Broom (Ian McShane) in a voice-over introducing Hellboy and his team. There are numerous fight sequences, witty jabs, and of course, the appearance of the Blood Queen herself.
The description certainly sounds like a wild ride, and we definitely can't wait to see the trailer drop online. Sure it might take some time, but it sounds like it's going to be worth the wait.
Hellboy is set for release April 12, 2019.
