Hear this Awesome Version of Famous Star Wars Scores Played Using Indian Instruments

The iconic music of John Williams knows no barriers.

The legendary composer may be of Australian descent, but his work speaks the language of the heart that a person from any part of the world will be able to understand it.

Case in point is a recent arrangement fromThe Indian Jam Project that re-imagines the different scores from Star Wars using Indian instruments. It proves a unique yet special feel to the different parts of the main Star Wars theme, The Force Awakens, the Imperial March, the Duel of Fates, and even the Cantina Song.

The project’s founder, Tushar Lall, arranged the tracks that uses different instruments like a percussion instrument called the tabla, as well as a stringed instrument called sitar, known for its relation to classical Indian music.

Check out the unique arrangement below:

Other famous scores the project has performed include the Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, and even Game of Thrones themes.

The Force is strong in this one. I’m pretty sure John Williams will like it himself.
