HBO Taunts Fans With Game Of Thrones Season 8 Spoilers

Despite HBO's many efforts to keep the seventh season of Game of Thrones and its secrets under wraps back in 2017, hackers managed to obtain the fantasy epic's files, sending out advanced copies of episodes online.

This year HBO's managed to prevent any major leaks – which is good considering the fact that Game of Thrones eighth and final season is on the line. So far there haven't been any leaked plotlines, spilled secrets, or threats from hackers and HBO has been nothing but proud.

Taking to Twitter, the network's been flaunting its ability to keep Game of Thrones new batch of episodes safe and sound, sharing a tweet that seemingly taunts the fantasy epic's fanbase.

"Spoilers hurt because you already know them in your heart," HBO wrote on its post shaped like a cup of tea.

Though the network did eventually delete the tweet off the face of Twitter, Game of Thrones fans on Reddit managed to get screenshots of its taunting little message.

Could HBO be hinting that long-held season 8 rumors and beliefs are actual spoilers for Game of Thrones new season? Or is the network just trolling with fans hoping to get a few new deets on the fantasy epic's next batch episodes knowing that they've upped security this year?

What we do know however is that HBO's little taunt has sparked a bit of an uproar over at Twitter, with fans demanding the full trailer for Game of Thrones' new season. The show is just two months away from its season 8 premiere – so where in the world is HBO hiding Game of Thrones' new trailer?

Game of Thrones season 8 premieres on April 14, 2019.
