HBO Releases First Season 8 Footage Of Game Of Thrones


It might take a while till Game of Thrones makes its way back to HBO with its eighth and final season, but it looks like the premium cable network's slowly begun working on the series' marketing campaign. HBO's just revealed the very first footage from the fantasy epic's final set of episodes in a short video for the network's 2019 lineup.

Posting on its official Twitter account, HBO just released a short promo video to announce its lineup for next year and among the clips taken from the shows and the series that the network is to feature next year are bits and pieces of Game of Thrones season 8. Sure, the video might have a few shots from season 7 of the fantasy epic, but there are also a few new scenes between Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).

Sure, it might not seem much, but HBO's given very few details about the final season of Game of Thrones. Fans are going to have settle for these bits and pieces till HBO starts working on the marketing campaign of the series which may begin early next year or in the second quarter of 2019.

Game of Thrones Season 8 doesn't have a release date just yet, but the series is expected to return during the latter half of 2019.
