HBO Interested in Bringing Antonio Banderas to Westworld

With Game of Thrones set to end next year, HBO is currently looking for another show to become the new "flagship" of the network. A lot of fans think that the show is Westworld, and news has it that HBO has another veteran actor in mind to bring in as a series regular.

According to That Hashtag Show, HBO is interested in bringing Antonio Banderas as a villain for Westworld 3. We don't really have that many details on who Banderas could play, but it's said to be in the same vein as Javier Bardem's villain from Skyfall.

No doubt Banderas will be able to pull off the role, but if he denies, I wonder if HBO would ever consider bringing in the actual Javier Bardem. How about Wagner Moura? He was amazing in Narcos.

So far, the biggest new name in the cast is Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad. We don't have any serious confirmation yet, but it's very likely that we'll see a return of Anthony Hopkins and Ed Harris in the third season. Plus, we'll get returning cast members like Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, and Tessa Thompson as well.

With the high production value of the show, we aren't expecting to get a new season every year. Instead, we get a release from the show every other year with season one coming out in 2016 and the second coming out only this year.

Production for Westworld 3 is said to kick off March of next year, and with that, we should expect it to air on HBO come 2020.
