There is little doubt that fans are already hyped up about Hayden Christensen's return as Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi. But what would Christensen look like in the full Darth Vader costume? A new fan art imagines the Revenge of the Sith actor as the Sith Lord.
The fan art was created by digital artist Bosslogic and has been shared on Instagram. Check it out below.
It's an awesome depiction that could pass for a promotional poster for Christensen's appearance in Obi-Wan Kenobi. However, we're also hoping to see Christensen in the full Vader costume in the near future.
Christensen's involvement in Obi-Wan Kenobi was confirmed during Disney Investor Day where a sizzle reel for the limited series was also screened. Not surprisingly, Ewan McGregor admitted that the best thing about working on the new show was getting the chance to work with Christensen again.
"The most beautiful thing of all is that it's brought me back together with Hayden," McGregor said before confirming that he and Christensen will have "another swing at each other" in the series.
Christensen agreed with McGregor on this one, pointing out that Vader and Obi-Wan have a score to settle.
"Of course, Anakin and Obi-Wan weren't on the greatest of terms when we last saw them," Christensen said. "It will be interesting to see what an amazing director like Deborah Chow has in store for us all."
