He might not be in Avengers: Infinity War, but Hawkeye has certainly killed a lot of villains in the other Avengers films. A new video reveals just how deadly Clint Barton can be with a bow and arrow.
The video follows Hawkeye's kill count in the Battle of New York in The Avengers as well as the fight in Sokovia in Avengers: Age of Ultron. There are confirmed and assumed kills. You can also take note of the number of arrows Clint uses and recovers throughout the two movies.
It's interesting to see just how quickly Hawkeye can take down an opponent with a bow and arrow. It almost makes you feel bad thinking that Clint could've been a useful addition in the Battle of Wakanda in Infinity War. Hawkeye would've enjoyed going up against the Outriders and he might even get a quiver of vibranium arrows to use against them.
In truth, Hawkeye has appeared in two other Marvel Cinematic Universe films. He had a small cameo in Thor and was one of the major players in Captain America: Civil War. However, Clint didn't kill anyone in both movies.
Fans who were disappointed with Hawkeye's absence in Infinity War can rest assured that he will be back in Avengers 4. Jeremy Renner has already confirmed that he is currently working on some reshoots for the sequel so there is little doubt that Clint survived Thanos' snap and will be ready for more action.
Avengers 4 is scheduled for release on May 3, 2019.
