Hawkeye Star Hailee Steinfeld Eager For Young Avengers Movie

There is little doubt that Kate Bishop is one of the most promising new characters introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, thanks to an amazing performance by Hailee Steinfeld. Not surprisingly, the Hawkeye star is eager to reprise her role in a future project, preferably with the rest of the Young Avengers.

Hailee Steinfeld Wants Kate Bishop To Return in Young Avengers Movie

Hailee Steinfeld is currently promoting Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse but she also discussed her other Marvel role. In an interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Steinfeld confessed that she is more than ready to return as Kate Bishop.

"I'm certainly chomping at the bit," she said. "I am so ready to get back at it."

"I am itching to be on set again with people that do what I do and love what we do," Steinfeld continued. "I have such a sense of belonging when I'm on set and a sense of home and I just love it."

It's no surprise that Hailee Steinfeld wants to continue playing Kate aka the new Hawkeye. After all, the character was a refreshing addition to the MCU and it was clear that Steinfeld had a lot of fun portraying the character.

But is a Young Avengers movie actually happening? The latest MCU projects have already introduced new characters who have the potential of becoming part of the team. In addition to Kate, Hawkeye featured Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) who is set to replace Natasha Romanoff as Black Widow.

We already met Billy (Julian Hillard) and Tommy Maximoff (Jett Klein) in WandaVision while Eli Bradley (Elijah Richardson) what introduced in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Additionally, America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) debuted in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness while Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) got her live-action debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Finally, Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton) joined the action in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. All these characters could come together for a Young Avengers movie.

In the meantime, Hailee Steinfeld plays Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which is now screening in theaters worldwide.
