It's almost time for the penultimate episode of Hawkeye and that means that the series is set to end soon. But what could that possibly mean for the new characters who were introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe show? We know that Maya Lopez is getting her own Echo spin-off show so will her lieutenant Kazi actually join her? Fra Fee teases his possible return in the other MCU series.
Kazi has already proven to be an important part of Hawkeye. As Maya Lopez's lieutenant, he has been the one character connected to her and Clint Barton. But will he follow her to her spin-off series? Fra Fee recently spoke to Screenrant, admitting that he wants to be part of Echo.
"I would love to. I would love to explore this character for as long as I am around, genuinely," Fee said. He then pointed out that he truly enjoys playing Kazi.
"He's deeply, deeply intriguing and compelling, and mysterious. I don't even know the fully-fledged version of him," Fee said. Interestingly, he then suggested that Kazi's return would be somebody else's suggestion.
"I did my job for the sake of this gig. It's up to someone else to see if there's more to explore. We'll have to wait and see," Fee said.
For now, Alaqua Cox is the only Hawkeye star confirmed for the Echo series. However, fans are hoping that Fra Fee will eventually be announced to join his co-star in the spin-off show. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
Hawkeye will only consist of six episodes, the fifth one already set to premiere this week. Although we have yet to see Kazi turning into Clown, there is a huge possibility we'll see something big happening to the character soon.
Hawkeye Episode 5 will premiere on Disney+ on December 15, 2021.
