Hawkeye Series Could Introduce Jessica Jones Into MCU

We already know that Hawkeye will bring back Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton and introduce Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop. But is it possible that the upcoming Disney+ series will also introduce a Netflix Marvel character into the Marvel Cinematic Universe? There are speculations that Jessica Jones could be one of the new (or old) characters who will show up in the highly anticipated MCU show.

There is little doubt that people were disappointed when Jessica Jones was cancelled after three seasons. After all, fans were hoping that Jessica's story would continue. Nevertheless, it looks like this could still happen as new speculations suggest that Jessica will be introduced into the MCU through one of the upcoming Marvel projects.

It was previously reported that Jessica could show up in Spider-Man 3 or one of the Spider-Verse projects since the character had close ties with Peter Parker in the comic books. However, a new theory points out it's more plausible for Jessica to get her MCU debut in Hawkeye.

Comic book readers already know that Jessica is the one character who somehow made Kate the new Hawkeye after she passed Clint's weapons on to the girl. Although it's still possible that Kate's origin story will be presented differently in Hawkeye, some still believe that Jessica could play an integral role in making sure the two Hawkeyes get to meet.

We're loving the idea of Jessica showing up in the MCU. However, it's important to point out that Kristen Ritter's return as the Marvel character has not yet been confirmed. With that in mind, it's best to take this with a grain of salt.
