There is little doubt that people are already looking forward to Hawkeye. After all, it has been a long time since we got to see Clint Barton in action. However, there's another actor that Hailee Steinfeld is hyping up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series. The Bumblebee star has just confirmed that she shot an awesome scene with Florence Pugh who will reprise her role as Yelena Belova in the Disney+ show!
We already know that Florence Pugh will appear in some episodes of Hawkeye. Although it has not yet been confirmed how many episodes she will appear in or what role she will play in the series, fans are convinced that Yelena Belova will be going after Clint Barton. However, it looks like she'll be sharing an interesting scene with Kate Bishop instead.
Steinfeld recently spoke to Cosmopolitan where she admitted she enjoyed working with Florence Pugh before sharing details about their scene together.
"We had a moment together where we were shooting and something went wrong. There was no recovering from it. I started laughing so hard that somebody thought I was crying—I don’t know what that says about my laugh—and I just remember a flood of people rushing in and being like, 'Is everyone okay?'" Steinfeld said before adding that she was "literally facedown on the ground, just hysterically laughing."
"Mind you, we were in a scene that was in no way, shape, or form meant to be at all funny. We really did have a wonderful time together," Steinfeld concluded.
It's great to know that Steinfeld and Pugh had fun working together on Hawkeye but we're also curious about the scene they were shooting. Could it have something to do with Yelena's mission to get Clint? Was Kate trying to defend Clint from Yelena? We'll find out for sure next week.
Hawkeye also stars Jeremy Renner, Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d'Arcy James, and Alaqua Cox. The series is set for a two-episode premiere on Disney+ on November 24, 2021.
