Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe went absolutely nuts when rumors circulated this week that Vincent D'Onofrio will be making his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Hawkeye. To be fair, D'Onofrio has long been rumored to be making the MCU jump but according to the latest news, we will in fact see him in the Jeremy Renner-led series which will feature a more "larger than life" depiction of the iconic Marvel villain.

D'Onofrio only fueled speculation about his alleged casting as the Daredevil actor has been sharing cryptic poems on social media as of late which led a lot of fans to believe that he's actually hinting at his highly anticipated arrival to the MCU. If you'd ask him though, there's zero meaning behind his recent posts or that's what he'd like fans to believe, at least.

Taking to Twitter, Vincent says that while he appreciates the clamor from the fandom, he claims that there's nothing to decode in his posts. He wrote: "Silly to look deeper into the little pieces I write. I've been writing them for years now. Although I appreciate the fandom. Because I loved playing him in @daredevil"

D'Onofrio's latest statement doesn't exactly confirm anything but it doesn't deny his potential involvement in Hawkeye either. Of course, we'll have to see the series to find out whether or not Wilson Fisk will be there but considering the fact that Charlie Cox is heavily rumored to appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home, I strongly believe that Kevin Feige is recruiting the actors from Netflix's Marvel shows.

Hawkeye will begin streaming on November 24 only on Disney+.
