The second season of Netflix's horror series The Haunting of Hill House is titled The Haunting of Bly Manor, and star Victoria Pedretti has revealed that it will be scarier and more intense than the first one. The Haunting of Bly Manor finds its roots in Henry James' seminal novel The Turning of the Screw. Those who've read James' book are already know that Victoria Pedretti's character, a young governess named Danni, is in for a thrilling ride, and Pedretti has revealed that Season 2 is going to be so intense.
During an interview with Nylon, Pedretti expressed her excitement for Season 2, saying: "I'm really excited about it. In some ways, it is [more intense] than season one. It's its own thing. Even though it's the second season of a show that I've been in before, almost everything is different."
In the interview, Pedretti reveals that her new character will have blonde hair, saying, "She's completely different; nothing like [her season one character] Nell".
Pedretti was also quizzed on the popular fan theory from the second season of Netflix's YOU. Some fans have speculated that the woman Joe saw at the end of the season is his mother. Here's what Pedretti said about that:
"He's like, 'Hello, you.' Why would he say that to his mother? Or it's his mother and he doesn't know it? Or his mother has somehow gotten out of the habitual natures of her entire life and finds herself living in the suburbs?"
We'll just have to wait for Season 3 to find out. Netflix recently confirmed the third season of YOU.
Netflix is set to premiere The Haunting of Bly Manor sometime in 2020.
