New Netflix Series Will Explore American's Most Haunted Houses

It looks like Netflix wants to continue terrifying people with some original content. The streaming giant is reportedly working on a documentary that will feature the most haunted houses in the United States.

The report from Totally The Bomb reveals that Netflix was secured the streaming rights to Imagine Entertainment's new docuseries that will explore the most haunted locations around the country.

For now, the series does not have a title yet. Likewise, there aren't a lot of details revealed about the show. However, there is little doubt that it will be one of the most chilling shows on Netflix soon. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Haunted houses aren't exactly a new thing for Netflix. One of the streaming service's most popular shows happens to be The Haunting of Hill House, which was based on Shirley Jackson's book. The series starred Carla Gugino, Henry Thomas, Timothy Hutton, Michiel Huisman, Elizabeth Reaser, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Kate Siegel, and, Victoria Pedretti. Not surprisingly, a follow-up to the show is currently in production.

The Haunting of Bly Manor will not be a sequel to Hill House but will adapt Henry James' The Turn of the Screw. Like its predecessor, it will be a modern take on the classic story. In addition to that, Bly Manor will bring back Thomas, Jackson-Cohen, Siegel, and Pedretti as completely new characters.
