Harry Styles Weighs In On His Fans’ Reaction To His Dating Life
While speaking with Rolling Stone, Harry Styles acknowledged that his fans can sometimes feel too invested in his personal relationships so he always needs to warn the people that he dates.
“I’ve never talked about my life away from work publicly and found that it’s benefited me positively. There’s always going to be a version of a narrative, and I think I just decided I wasn’t going to spend the time trying to correct it or redirect it in some way. Can you imagine going on a second date with someone and being like, ‘Okay, there’s this corner of the thing, and they’re going to say this, and it’s going to be really crazy, and they’re going to be really mean, and it’s not real.… But anyway, what do you want to eat?’” he said.
Styles also said that it’s always a difficult feeling to have those close to him be dragged into controversy just because of their ties to the singer.
“I just wanted to sing. I didn’t want to get into it if I was going to hurt people like that,” he said.

Olivia Wilde Doesn’t Take Anything Against Harry Styles’ Fans
However, Wilde had the best response to Styles’ comments. The actress understands why her boyfriend’s fans are very protective of him, and she doesn’t take it against them.
“What I don’t understand about the cruelty you’re referencing is that that kind of toxic negativity is the antithesis of Harry and everything he puts out there. I don’t personally believe the hateful energy defines his fan base at all. The majority of them are true champions of kindness,” she said.
Olivia Wilde Wins First Part Of Her Custody Battle Against Jason Sudeikis
Meanwhile, Styles and Wilde made headlines recently after the actress finally responded to her ex Jason Sudeikis’ custody filing. In her statement, Wilde accused Sudeikis of purposely trying to threaten her, that’s why he had her served with the papers while she was on stage at a speaking engagement.
“Jason's actions were clearly intended to threaten me and catch me off guard. He could have served me discreetly, but instead, he chose to serve me in the most aggressive manner possible. The fact that Jason would embarrass me professionally and put our personal conflict on public display in this manner is extremely contrary to our children's best interests. Since Jason has made it clear that we will not be able to work this out for our children's sake outside of the court system, I filed a petition for custody in Los Angeles,” she said (via Entertainment Tonight).
Days later, Sky News reported that Wilde won the first part of her custody battle with Sudeikis after a judge ruled that the exes’ two children’s home state is California and not New York.
