Harry Potter Villain Reimagined As Magneto In MCU Fan Art

We have yet to see Hugh Jackman make his MCU debut as he returns to his Wolverine role in Deadpool 3, however, fans have already begun speculating about their dream cast for the upcoming X-Men entrance. One of these dream castings is Harry Potter’s Lucius Malfoy slash Star Wars and Star Trek actor Jason Isaacs as Magneto aka Erik Lehnsherr.

Digital artist @subi.ozil just posted on Instagram their dream cast of Jason Isaacs as the founder of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants in which the actor is sporting the tight red suit instead of his signature helmet. Along his appearance, he is surrounded by the Avengers’ helmets and other items such as Ant-Man’s helmet and Captain America’s shield, picturing Isaacs debuting as Magneto in the MCU. This isn’t the first time the Harry Potter villain was cast as Magneto. In fact, back then, Isaacs had a similar fan art by a different artist, @spdrmnkyxxiii on Instagram, which portrayed him wearing the complete and iconic signature Magneto look. If this isn’t a huge callout to Marvel to cast the actor for the role in the potential future X-Men project in the MCU, I don’t know what is.

While we have yet to receive official announcements on where the Fox X-Men franchise stands in the multiverse timeline, the more Phase 5 and Phase 6 unfold, the less likely we will be seeing the revival anytime soon in the franchise. However, seeing as the multiverse exists, there is a chance for Isaacs to, if not as the one and only Magneto in the entire planet, be a variant of Magneto of some sort.
