However, one particular casting may have been leaked and the upcoming second season could bring in a Harry Potter star as one of the new Aes Sedai!
The leak comes from Reddit where a fan shared a screenshot of Katie Leung's acting CV as it appears on her talent agency Curtis Brown. The Cho Chang actress has been listed to join The Wheel of Time as "Yassica" in the second season.
This is great news not just for Harry Potter fans but for Wheel of Time readers as well. It would be awesome to see Leung playing a powerful character all over again. In addition to that, Yassica will finally play a larger role beyond the books.
"Yassica" is Yassica Cellaech, an ancient prophet who was an Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah. She doesn't appear in the books but is referenced throughout Jordan's novels. If Leung is playing Yassica in The Wheel of Time Season 2, this could mean we will be seeing a major flashback of how the Brown Ajah was in the past.
