Harley Quinn Star Lake Bell Rumored to Be Part of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is easily one of the most-anticipated upcoming MCU films as fans are curious to see what kind of direction will they take after the passing of Chadwick Boseman who, of course, plays T'Challa. Little is known so far about the plot details except that most of the characters from the first film will return. Production has also started a few months ago, but they have to shut down recently to give time for Letitia Wright's recovery.

The details regarding the new cast members for the sequel have also been pretty much secretive. So far, only Michaela Coel and Dominique Thorne, who will make her MCU debut as Riri Williams, are confirmed to be part of the cast. Now, according to The Cosmic Circus citing the paparazzi photos shot by IG user @atlanta_filming, Harley Quinn and What If...? star Lake Bell is now also rumored to be part of the ensemble.

As you can see in @atlanta_filming's post above, Bell can be spotted on the set of the film. You can also see that she is not wearing a mask which indicates that she is an on-camera talent and she wasn't just vising the set. The account wrote in the caption, "Ok. So there are three new cast members, including one deep Marvel reference gender swapped, and a day player. I'll let figure/guess who is who. Also, the last imagine is black and white to make it harder to guess who is dangling from the helicopter..."

You can argue that this is not necessarily a 100% confirmation of her casting in the film, but as The Cosmic Circus pointed out, they noticed that Bell has followed the official Black Panther account on Instagram as well as the other MCU stars such as Mark Ruffalo and Sebastian Stan. There are definitely signs that tell that she is officially part of the film.

If Bell is confirmed to be part of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, it won't be her first hurrah into the MCU as she voices Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow in What If...? The set photo doesn't indicate that she is playing the character in live-action. Besides that, Bell is also known for voicing Poison Ivy in the animated series Harley Quinn and Vanessa Fisk in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
