Harley Quinn Producer Teases Details on Valentine's Day Special

Marvel is beginning to feature holiday-themed specials in their cinematic universe. One of its recently released Guardians of the Galaxy holiday specials got the fans into the Christmas spirit. So can we expect the MCU to become more festive in the future? I suppose, yes, with Harley Quinn.

In October, the studio announced that the Harley Quinn animated series would be getting its own special in February titled Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine's Day Special.

As a special treat, showrunner Patrick Schumacker of the first three seasons took to Twitter to tease the series' upcoming special.

He wrote, “Watching the @dcharleyquinn Valentines Day Special with @jeffefferspin's music for the first time and I'm somehow even prouder of it. HARLEY QUINN: A VERY PROBLEMATIC VALENTINES DAY drops on @hbomax in February '23!”

Schumacker seems to understand the significance of the soundtrack in the cinematic experience that’s why he highlighted how proud he was of the outcome of the Valentines' special.

The showrunner expressed in another tweet, “Can confirm @MrGeorgePeters and the team at Atlas Oceanic mixed the f#%k out of HARLEY QUINN: A VERY PROBLEMATIC VALENTINES SPECIAL. Killer sound from top, down and all the way around. Waiting for y'all to finally see this in February '23 is difficult for me.”

According to the official logline, “The special will feature Harley and Ivy celebrating their very first Valentine’s Day together, while also revealing how the rest of the ragtag crew spends the gushiest, mushiest, most romantic day of the year.”

With the animation’s representation, Margot Robbie continues to push a thrilling romance between Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy to appear on the big screen.

“I have been pushing for that for years. I cannot tell you how hard I've been pushing for that. I want it too.” she said.
