Han Solo’s Funeral Spotted On Croatian Set of Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Star Wars: The Last Jedi shooting in places outside the Pinewood Studios has been the source of numerous leaked information and images online. While most of these leaks have been taken from the film's production in Ireland, reports have come from The Last Jedi shoots in Dubrovnik, Croatia as well.

Though rumor already has it that Supreme Leader Snoke's home world has been filmed right in Croatia, new reports indicate that another important scene in The Last Jedi is set to happen in the same place. According to YouTuber Mike Zeroh, a source on the Dubrovnik set of The Last Jedi revealed that the team was filming the funeral of Han Solo.

"He said…that this scene consisted of characters paying their respects. And that to me sounds like a funeral. Now could it be for Han Solo? Absolutely," Zeroh explained."I can't really see who else they are paying their respects to."

While many fans question the claims Zeroh makes online, it's very likely that we'll be getting a funeral for Han Solo in Star Wars: The Last Jedi to help give closure to General Organa (Carrie Fisher), Rey (Daisy Ridley) and all of those close to him. The only question left is whether the funeral would really be held in Dubrovnik – a matter that can only be confirmed once we get to see the film. For now, like any Star Wars: The Last Jedi rumor, it's advised that we take this bit with a grain of salt.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi premieres on the big screen on Dec. 15, 2017.
