Punch it! The principal photography for Phil Lord and Chris Miller's untitled Han Solo Star Wars Story film has officially began at Pinewood Studios, London, and Starwars.com just released a new photo featuring the cast of the second Star Wars standalone live-action film.
The cast includes Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca, Thandie Newton, Emilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. They look like a happy bunch in the photo, and I think it's given that Clarke's character will be Han Solo's love interest in his early days.
"Watching such inspired people from all over the world, with such unique voices, come together for the sole purpose of making art, is nothing short of miraculous," the co--directors said. "We can't think of anything funny to say, because we just feel really moved, and really lucky."
The untitled Han Solo Star Wars Story is set to release in theaters on May 25, 2018.
