Han Solo Goes to Imperial Court in Deleted Scene from Solo: A Star Wars Story

Solo: A Star Wars Story hits digital this Friday, and along with it will come some deleted scenes from the movie. Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we have a new look at a deleted scene which explores Han's Imperial days as a TIE pilot, and we get to watch him stand trial against an Imperial tribunal.

What's annoying is, this scene was supposed to include an appearance from Legends characters Tag and Bink, but they were cut from this clip as well. I guess the only canon appearance they do have is in the books when they drag Solo out after he is commissioned to Mimban.

Watching the movie, I do kind of wish that we got more of Han actually flying ships. Before flying the Falcon, the only ship we see Han pilot is the AT-AT hauler after he takes over for Rio. It would have been nice to see what his skills were while he was working for the Imperial Navy.

Personally, I just want to see more adventures with Han Solo and the world of the gangsters and crime sydicates. Sure the scale is a lot smaller than other Star Wars films, but I think that's exactly what Lucasfilm needs if they want to keep doing these anthology movies.

Solo: A Star Wars Story hits digital Sept. 14.
