Han So Hee Teams Up With Park Hee Soon And Ahn Bo Hyun For My Name
Avid followers of Han So Hee have seen her becoming the nation's dream girlfriend in the hit Netflix series titled Nevertheless. However, things would be different in My Name as she gets down and dirty being a mole in the police force.
Han So Hee will portray Yoon Ji Woo, who desperately wants to take revenge on whoever caused the sudden death of her father. The lead character of My Name works for a drug crime group called Dongcheonpa, which is a known drug carter in Korea.

During a press conference earlier this week, Han So Hee also revealed what made her choose to accept the project. The Nevertheless actress said:
"I could see the desperation in the script of someone having the one goal of revenge and only working towards that one goal. I thought it was a genre that I hadn't experienced yet where I would have to use my body to express emotions. That's why I read it enjoyably and had the thought that I wanted to try it."
Han So Hee also revealed her thoughts about her first-ever action project since her debut. The My Name lead star stated:
"At first, I took my modest vigor with me to action school and received lessons for a day but I thought, ‘I'm going to fail the moment I try to pull a trick.' I figured that no matter what, I had to invest a lot of time. I felt a lot of pressure because it's my first time, but also because I'm not alone and I have to coordinate with someone else to create one movement. I was also careful in case I got hurt. It was hard."
Park Hee Soon, one of Han So Hee's co-stars in My Name, also shared what most of the actors have to go through just to achieve their action-packed scenes. He divulged:
"All the actors had a lot of action scenes. Apart from Kim Sang Ho, the four male actors practiced for two months before filming. Han So Hee began practicing one month before us."
Han So Hee, at the time, also garnered some positive comments from series director Kim Jin Min himself. He said:
"An actress appeared who wanted to do it and said she would, and I believe that her keeping that promise became her power. For actors, your appearance and characteristics set a lot of limits for you. I always think of that limit as potential. Actors breaking through that limit on their own becomes potential. If you settle with your potential, that becomes a limit. I asked her two things, ‘Do you want to do it?' and ‘Are you going to practice?' Without a second of hesitation, she said she wanted to do it. It's not easy to personally say that to the director. There will be so many opportunities to play beautiful characters. However, opportunities to throw around your body in a project like this will not come easily. I am most thankful to Han So Hee."

The character of Han So Hee would partner with a detective named Jeon Pil Do (Ahn No Hyun) as she takes on a vital role in the police force. As she works with the police, she would meet Choi Moo Jin (Park Hee Soon), who turned out to be the boss of the drug cartel.
Aside from Han So Hee, other personalities present during the My Name press conference on Tuesday, Oct. 5, include Jang Yull, Lee Hak Ju, Kim Sang Ho, Ahn Bo Hyun and, of course, director Kim Jin Min.

My Name is scheduled to be released on Oct. 15, 2021, on Netflix. Prior to its official premiere, Han So Hee, Jan Yull, Park Hee Soon, Lee Hak Ju, Kim Sang Ho, Ahn Bo Hyun, and director Kim Jin Min would fly to Busan on Oct. 6 to showcase the first three episodes of the imminent new series at the 2021 Busan International Film Festival.
Han So Hee would play as Yoo Ji Woo while Park Hee Soon and Ahn Bo Hyun would portray Choi Moo Jin and Jeon Gi Ho, respectively. Other personalities confirmed to appear on My Name include Kim Sang Ho as Cha Gi Ho, Lee Hak Joo as Jung Tae Joo, Chang Ryul as Do Gang Jae, and Kim Su Ha as Yoon Ji Woo.
