Halle Berry recently addressed her potential return to her past comic book roles of Storm and Catwoman in future projects.
The Oscar winner notably dabbled in both Marvel and DC universes as she played Storm in the original Fox X-Men movies and starred in the maligned 2004 movie Catwoman.
Fans have been clamoring to see Berry reprise her fan-favorite X-Men character in the MCU while it's still in the Multiverse Saga. The actress has also expressed her interest in revisiting the role of Catwoman in a potential sequel.
Halle Berry Addresses Potential Return as Storm and Catwoman
In a recent interview, Berry casts doubt on potentially revisiting the role of Storm and Catwoman in the future.
The topic was brought up when she was asked whether she was interested in revisiting any of her past roles. She surprisingly responded with her character in the new film Never Let Go.
"This one. I stay in the present, you know, some of those things have, you know, gone by and I don't know if you can go back to things like that," the Oscar winner said.
"So I'm kind of in the present. I hope this does well enough that we get to all revisit this in some way."
While Berry didn't directly say that she won't be revisiting her past comic book roles, it sounded like she was not holding hope that she would be reprising them anytime soon given the current state of her career.
However, considering that Marvel Studios has proven in their recent releases that they currently have a penchant for bringing back actors from the Fox X-Men movies, it won't be surprising if Berry is asked to play Storm again.
They are currently working on upcoming Avengers movies including Secret Wars where they will have an avenue to do a major multiversal crossover and give someone like Berry the leeway to play their past comic book role one last time.
For now, let's wait and see whether the Oscar winner will revisit any of her previous comic book roles or it will just stay in the past.
