After HIDIVE recently announced its lineup for Winter 24, the streaming platform announced something interesting for ecchi fans. HIDIVE confirmed that the Gushing Over Magical Girls uncensored version will be streamed on the platform during the season.
Previously, it was revealed that this upcoming ecchi magical girl anime will be released in Japan in three versions.
Soon, fans outside Japan will have the option of streaming the mostly uncensored version, though it’s going to be a bit different from what was revealed before.
HIDIVE Confirms Gushing Over Magical Girls AT-X Version Release
Gushing Over Magical Girls is an upcoming magical girl anime. Its title may seem innocuous at first, but this series is an ecchi anime that promises a lot of fanservice, albeit making it not for everyone.
As with many ecchi anime, this series will have multiple versions. In Japan, the TV broadcast version will air on AT-X, but with censored audio and visuals.
For those who want an experience closer to the original manga, there will also be a “gushing” version that will only be available on Japanese streaming platforms. This version will have slightly uncensored visuals.
If that’s not enough, the anime will also be released in an “ultra-gushing” version that will be exclusive to the Blu-ray release. As expected, this version will be fully uncensored.
As for HIDIVE’s version, the streaming platform revealed that it will stream the AT-X version, albeit with some differences.
Unlike the TV broadcast version in Japan, the HIDIVE version will have no censorship for the video, but there will be changes to the audio.

Gushing Over Magical Girls Uncensored Release Date on HIDIVE Announced
Fans will also be happy to know that the Gushing Over Magical Girls AT-X version on HIDIVE won’t be released with a delay.
After all, some ecchi shows have delayed streaming releases for those who want to watch them in their full NSFW glory.
HIDIVE confirmed that the anime will air its first episode on January 3 at 11 AM EST / 8 AM PST. One new episode is expected to be released every week during the season.
This won’t be the only show that ecchi anime fans can look forward to on HIDIVE. That’s because the streaming platform also mentioned that the Chained Soldier anime will have a fully NSFW version.
As for those who want something more safe for work, there are also shows such as The Dangers in My Heart Season 2 which is also part of HIDIVE’s Winter 24 lineup.
