Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Star Will Poulter Eager to Go on a 'Journey' with Adam Warlock

There is little doubt that people are already hyped up for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 since it will finally introduce Adam Warlock. But does this also mean the character will play a major role in the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Will Poulter has addressed the possibility of returning in more MCU projects and he admitted that he is eager to "go on a journey" with the comic book superhero!

Will Poulter recently spoke to The Playlist where he discussed his audition for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. So far, the Maze Runner star is only confirmed for the James Gunn movie. But what are the chances he will reprise his role as Adam Warlock in more MCU films? Poulter pointed out that he isn't privy to that information, at least, not yet.

“I don’t know. I honestly don’t know what’s in store for me,” he said. Nevertheless, Poulter admitted that he is looking forward to finding out what will happen to his character in the future.

“I’m waiting to find out, and that’s the honest truth, but, needless to say, I’d love to sort of go on a journey with that character,” he said.

We're certainly hoping that Adam Warlock is here to stay considering that the character was originally teased in one of the mid-credits scenes of the second Guardians of the Galaxy film and fans have big hopes for the superhero. With that in mind, we can't wait to see Poulter's MCU debut next year.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is directed by James Gunn and will bring back Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Sean Gunn, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper. The film has just completed production and is currently scheduled for release on May 5, 2023.
