Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Early Reviews Claim MCU's Glory is Back

The theaters become a different kind of place whenever a new superhero movie comes out. Now that the next big Marvel Studios film, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, will be released days from now, fans are looking forward to how much impact it will have on the MCU.

Even though the final film of the trilogy has yet to premiere worldwide, critics and other insiders have already had access to the MCU movie or have already watched the conclusion to the epic story of the Guardians, and for most of them, itā€™s the best one yet.

After its first screening this past weekend at Disneyland Paris, initial reactions poured in that said the third Guardians of the Galaxy is not just the best in the trilogy but next to 2019ā€™s Avengers: Endgame, which was the movie that altered the brain chemistry of the MCU fandom when it got released in 2019.

Even if Avengers: Endgame gathered mixed reactions for claiming the lives of some of the beloved MCU heroes, most fans canā€™t deny that it was one of the most competitive and successful offerings of Marvel that they cannot duplicate anymore.

Given that the past Phase 4 kind of underperformed, fans are hoping that Phase 5 will rise and bounce back from that pitfall, but when Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was released in February, they werenā€™t so sure anymore if the redemption would be possible.

However, with James Gunnā€™s final contribution to the MCU via Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in the picture, things may begin to change here from then on, especially now that its emotional approach kind of worked for the audience who'd seen it first.

After all, even if they donā€™t usually dictate the outcome, first reactions are crucial to the overall experience of cinematic output, as they sometimes mirror or tend to have a domino effect once the majority has seen the movie.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 opens in cinemas on May 5.
