Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is a Fun Trip From Start to End

In two weeks, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is set to open in theaters. And a lot of fans are expecting it to become another Marvel home-runner.

Based on early screening reactions, this may really be the case.

A screening held by Marvel Studios for press has a lot of journalists flying with praise for the film. A lot of the first reactions are basically giving fans a very interesting and positive preview that they're bound to enjoy different aspects of the movie---be it the laughs, the awesome action, the intense palette galore, and even surprising emotions. I'm guessing those are coming from what director James Gunn said would be the discussions and touch points on the relationships among characters.

Sadly, the full reviews are embargoed until April 24. But honestly, I'm settling for just these comments and watching the movie myself. I trust Marvel enough that it would create a superhero ensemble movie without tripping up on its need to be cool, because it already is anyway.
