From being a preppy popular girl in Cross Roads to being the most dangerous woman in the galaxy in Guardians of the Galaxy, Zoe Saldana has done it all. Saldana's popularity has grown in recent years, thanks to her roles in the MCU, Star Trek, and Avatar. This is why fans should be happy to hear that she now has a Hollywood star.
Reported by Variety, Saldana has come a long way from her humble beginnings and is now one of the more well-known actresses in Hollywood. Saldana's various sci-fi roles aren't a coincidence as her mother was a big fan of the genre, thanks to films like 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Avatar is really where she started making a name for herself, as the actress was essentially one of the leads in James Cameron's epic sci-fi film. People recognize her more than co-star Sam Worthington, who has mostly starred in terrible movies since Avatar. With both stars slated to return for the sequel, fans know that Saldana's star will keep on growing.
Saldana did a good job in Star Trek as well, though she was only ever a supporting character in all three films in the J.J. Abrams reboot. Thankfully, Guardians of the Galaxy came along and she established herself as a badass again. Some would argue that Avengers: Infinity War took some of that mystique away but we still have one more film that can redeem her.
