“Let’s give a warm welcome to the new Interns of the Grey’s family,” Pickens captioned the snap. “Excited for season 19.”

From left to right, TVLine introduced each new face, starting with Niko Terho, who will play the role of Lucas Adams. The newbie will try his best to prove himself as a surgeon, just like his other family members who have come before him.

Next is Adelaide Kane as Jules Millin. Despite being raised by drug-confused artists/hippies, she has come out as the only real grown-up in the family.

She was followed by Midori Francis, who will be seen as Mika Yasuda. She’s a middle child with eight siblings. Despite being overlooked and underestimated, she will opt to use these things to her advantage.

In addition, Harry Shum will portray the character of Daniel “Blue” Kwan. Despite being impatient, he’s sharp-witted, brilliant and generous but also competitive.

Lastly, Alexis Floyd joins Grey’s Anatomy Season 19 as Simone Griffin. The high-achieving and whip-smart woman grew up in Seattle. But despite not wanting to work at Grey Sloan due to a painful history with the hospital, she still ends up here.

These young surgical residents may meet Meredith in Grey’s Anatomy Season 19 as the latter return to do her duties.

However, according to Us Weekly, her appearance will only be of a “limited capacity.” Though she will remain the show’s executive producer and continue narrating every episode, she will only be seen in just eight episodes.

After several doctors have resigned, Meredith seems to be the only one of the few who has remained in Settle. She’s now the chief of surgery, though it wasn’t part of her plan.
