Guardians of the Galaxy Actor Dave Bautista Shares BTS Photo from Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead

While we don't know if WB will eventually bite on #ReleaseTheSnyderCut, Zack Snyder himself has kept busy, teaming up with Netflix for a zombie action film called Army of the Dead. While we don't have any official look at the movie yet, Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy) has shared a BTS image of himself on the set of Snyder's next movie.

If you don't know the story of the film yet, Bautista is playing one of many mercenaries who will attempt to enter a quarantine zone in Las Vegas in order to pull off a grandiose heist. Without any official promos, we have no idea what to expect from the movie as of now, but I'm guessing it's going to be a mix between Ocean's Eleven and Zack Snyder's Dawn of the Dead.

I have to say, Bautista has actually gathered an impressive resume when you compare it to his fellow wrestlers-turned-actors. Besides starring as Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy, Bautista has managed to get himself cast in projects like Blade Runner 2049, Spectre, and Denis Villeneuve's upcoming Dune. I can't wait to see what happens next when it comes to his career.

No release date has been set for Snyder's Army of the Dead, but hopefully, we get an official announcement sometime within the year. My guess is it comes out this Halloween, but it could very well release anytime during the fall.
