The members of SM Entertainment's project girl group GOT the Beat is set to gather together to make a special appearance at Mnet’s music program, M Countdown.
On January 19, SM Entertainment revealed that GOT the Beat will perform their debut track “Step Back,” on the show. The super girl group will present a spectacular stage on the January 27th episode of M Countdown and will further create a history.

SM Entertainment debuts new super girl group
GOT the Beat debuted on January 1, 2022, after SM Entertainment conducted a free live online concert to extend gratitude and joy to global fans of the agency.
The SM Town Live 2022: SMCU Express at Kwangya unveiled special stages and never-before-seen performances from the artists signed under SM Entertainment.
This includes the reveal of the new supergroup GOT the Beat, which consists of BoA, Girls’ Generation members Taeyeon and Hyoyeon, Red Velvet’s Wendy and Seulgi, and aespa’s Karina and Winter. GOT the Beat performed their debut single “Step Back,” which opened the new year with a bang.

GOT the Beat and its hit track “Step Back”
“Step Back” is a track released on January 1, 2022, which brought forth the sleek and chic images of each member of GOT the Beat. The song is a catchy blend of hip hop and R&B that showcases each members’ personality and musical prowess.
GOT the Beat also debuted a fantastic performance video, which was met with a positive reception from the general public. The song also charted on top of several music charts in South Korea and globally.
The debut single showcased the members’ distinct vocals, exceptional artistry, and a fantastic synergy with their vibrant gestures, facial expressions, and choreography.
