This time, aespa achieves an amazing feat with the debut song, “Black Mamba,” becoming the group’s first music video to exceed 200 million views on YouTube.

In particular, the music video for “Black Mamba” achieved 200 million views on YouTube on January 14, at around 8:00 PM KST. The music video was released on aespa’s debut date, November 17, 2020, at 6:00 PM KST. This sees the music video taking 423 days or one year, one month, and 28 days, to reach the incredible milestone.

Currently, the music video for "Black Mamba" has 200,826,026 views on YouTube.

aespa’s “Black Mamba” Sets New Record

“Black Mamba” is the debut and first digital track of SM Entertainment’s new girl group aespa. It was released on November 17, 2020, and was written and composed by the agency’s genius songwriter and producer Yoo Young Jin.

The track is characterized as pop, electropop, and dance-pop music with synth and EDM sound and bass, as well as an irresistible hook that captures its listeners.

The lyrics are about an entity known as the black mamba that only disrupts the members’ and their avatars’ connection, but also threatens their planet, Kwangya.
