Glitch Episode 3 Recap: Hong Ji Ho Reignites Connection With Hae Bora

The third episode starts with a scene at a nursing home, where a religious group, New Beginnings Peace Corps, is having an activity, through Cleansing Prayer, with a group of old women.

One member was surprised to see her granddaughter, who paid her a visit.

However, the environment changed after the child was seen crying in the room and staring at something.

The nurse came to check on the child and saw the women’s lifeless body hanging.

The scene shifted to the present time when Hong Ji Ho saw a symbol at the place where she believed Si Guk got abducted.

Trying out to know the meaning of the symbol, she begins her own investigation by contacting possible leads.

However, Hae Bora gets her attention by attempting to file a complaint against Ji Ho for damaging her scooter.

To make it up to her, she settles the issue by buying her a meal. During their conversation, Hae Bora tells her about her YouTube channel and a similar story close to Ji Ho and her boyfriend.

At the UFO forum’s café, she showed her the clip about Director Kim, whose 16-year-old daughter has gone missing without a trace, like Si Guk.

After investigating his daughter’s case, he also vanished mysteriously.

With Bora’s information about the possible connection of Director Kim’s case to Si Guk, Ji Ho believed that this might be the start of her investigation and the trace behind EMPs and the crop circle symbol.

Interestingly both Ji Ho and Bora ended up with a written deal. She will help Ji Ho find her boyfriend on one condition, she has to sign a contract noting that Hae Bora could use the investigation as her channel’s content.

She had no choice but to agree to find Lee Si Guk.

In one of the scenes in Glitch episode 3, the duo began by contacting the property manager at Si Guk’s place, asking her about the previous tenant, and the movers cleared out his apartment.

On the other hand, Hae Bora begins her task and breaks in to the apartment after the property manager leaves for her next client.

The duo managed to enter the place, Bora began scanning the apartment, looking for narrowband microwaves, which were similar to the ones Ji Ho saw in Si Guk’s watch.

Hae Bora was surprised to detect an electromagnetic bandwidth; however, instead of seeing possible traces of Si Guk’s whereabouts, the duo witnessed a cult-like activity of the people looking at the apartment.

Besides the odd lights, the mysterious group recited a Cleansing Prayer, similar to the New Beginnings Peace Corps.
