Netflix introduces Glitch, a series that focuses on UFOs and the world of the unknown starring Jeon Yeo Been and Nana as lead stars.
The 10-part episode series depicts the story of a woman, Hong Ji Ho (jeon Yeo Been) who has the power to see mysterious creatures like aliens and is in search of her missing longtime boyfriend, Lee Si Guk (Lee Dong Hwi) who strangely vanished in a blink of an eye.
She then meets Heo Bo Ra (Nana) a YouTuber and Twitch streamer, whose video contents are all about mysteries, who teams up with Ji Ho to find her missing boyfriend.

Directed by Roh Deok of SF8: Manxin and penned by Extracurricular screenwriter Jin Han Sae, Glitch is sci-fi series with a unique plot and interesting cast lineup.
The K-drama’s 10 episodes all aired on October 7 exclusively via Netflix.

Glitch Episode 1 Recap: Hong Ji Ho’s Almost Perfect Life
The first episode introduces the background story of Hong Ji Hyo and her ability to see things far from ordinary people.
Glitch Episode 1 starts with a young girl lying in an open field who was stunned to see a bright light ahead of her.
The next scene switches to the present time where Hong Ji Ho, who is all grown up, lives with her father and stepmother.
At work, she is among those who got their career through “parachute hire,” a person who got into the company through his or her family's connection.
However, in Ji Ho’s case, his father is a friend of the company’s CEO while her stepmom is an influential person.
Apart from her stable career, she also has a long-time boyfriend, Lee Si Guk, whom she has been dating for four years.
Lee Si Guk’s Surprise Announcement to Hong Ji Ho
In one of the scenes, Si Guk surprised his girlfriend with an announcement that he got them approval for their own apartment which means that wanted to take things to a deeper level.
Although they have been thinking about marriage, it seems like Hong Ji Ho is bothered by something that she couldn't get out of her mind that it made it hard to process Si Guk’s announcement.
It came after Ji Ho saw an image of an alien wearing a green helmet who was looking at her.
For Ji Ho, it’s been a long time since she saw one, and was surprised that the incident happened again.
During her dinner with Si Guk and her parents, she stepped out for a moment after her father recalled an odd experience involving her childhood.
In the alleyway, she saw an image of the creature and ran away but was stunned to see it much bigger and tried to get her.
As Ji Ho ran away from the creature, she ended up in the fields. She saw a van with two girls talking but as she opened the door, she ended up on top of the edge of the building.
Ji Ho was turned over to the police thinking that she tried to end her life.
Si Guk came to the police station but did not tell Ji Ho’s parents about it.
Here, she and her boyfriend had a heart-to-heart talk where Ji Ho is hinting about her seeing a weird creature, asking if he still wanted to be with her.
Unsatisfied with her answer, she called it quits, leaving Si Guk heartbroken.
However, an unexpected thing is bound to happen to Si Guk after he went missing. The incident comes after he saw the bright light that came to him.
