The ever-gorgeous and angel-like youngest member of Girls' Generation, Seohyun, will be gracing the small screen once again with her impressive acting skills as she confirms her participation as a lead in the upcoming Kdrama The Jinx's Lover.
The Jinx's Lover is based on a webtoon of the same name written by Han Ji Hye and Koo Seul. Now on the works for a Kdrama adaptation, The Jinx's Lovers is a fantasy romance drama that depicts the story of an unlucky man who meets the goddess of fortune and luck who was hidden by a rich family.

The Jinx's Lover revolves around the magical story of a goddess of fortune and luck who meets a man with an unlucky fate. The two find a love connection in the midst of an unfair and cruel world.
Even before its release, the imminent series already drew huge attention right after the news that director Yoon Sang-Ho will direct the drama. Yoon Sang-ho is prominently known for directing the Kdrama River Where The Moon Rises, which stars Kim So Hyun and Na In Woo. While writer Jang Yoon-mi will give color to the drama's storyline, who also wrote the films Cheer Up, Mr. Lee, Luck-Key, Madonna, Scarlet Innocence, and The Cat.

The Jinx's Lover Cast
The Jinx's Lover will see Girls' Generation member Seohyun as Lee Seul Bi, a goddess of fortune and life who grew up trapped in a mysterious place by a rich family and eventually escaped seven years after that gave her the opportunity to meet Gong Soo Kwang (Na In Woo). Lee Seul Bi has the ability to see the future of the person she touches.
This role perhaps fits perfectly with Seohyun as she plans to portray the character with her pure and innocent personality as well as her out-of-this-world gorgeous visuals, just like a goddess.
Seohyun has also had her experience in the acting industry when she joined Namoo Actors. In particular, she had supporting and cameo roles in The Producers, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, and more. Her solid acting skills were even more highlighted with lead roles in the Kdramas Bad Thief Good Thief, Time, Hello Dracula, and the most recent, Private Lives.

On the other hand, Na In Woo will portray the character of Gong Soo Kwang, a fish captain at the Seodong Market who lives a life always followed by jinx and misfortune. Gong Soo Kwang has a passionate yet composed and calm character, who is popular among women due to his handsome visuals. His misfortune ended when he meets Lee Seul Bi, the goddess of fortune and luck.
Na In Woo is well-known for his characters in Mr. Queen, River Where The Moon Rises, and Mystic Pop-Up Bar. With impressive acting skills regardless of the genre, Na In Woo has shown off his unique presence and ability that absolutely won the hearts of many Kdrama viewers.
Meanwhile, The Jinx's Lover has recently started filming and is expected to air later in 2021.
