Will Song Joong Ki And Jeon Yeo Bin Reunite For Vincenzo Season 2?

Unfortunately, tvN has not yet confirmed if it will be renewing the series for another season. Even Song Joong Ki, who is among the K-drama's lead stars, remains clueless if Vincenzo Season 2 is still possible to happen in the future.

"Nothing has been said about Season 2. I'm personally happy that many people want Season 2 to come out, but realistically speaking it's not coming out, and I don't think there was ever any Season 2 discussion going on internally."

One of Song Joong Ki's co-stars told Soompi that having Vincenzo Season 2 will be a "dream come true" for him. Kwak Dong Yeon, who portrayed as Jang Han Seo in the original series, even suggested having a spin-off for his character.

"Maybe I could be a grown-up Young Ho, or a ghost who follows Vincenzo around all the time."

Though nothing is set in stone as of this writing, it cannot be denied that Vincenzo was truly a success as it was able to achieve a high viewership rating since it premiered. Not only that because Song Joong Ki's comeback series was even named the sixth highest-rated drama in tvN's history and the ninth highest-rated drama in the history of Korean cable history.

Other rumors suggested that creators are totally considering having Vincenzo Season 2 in the future. Some fans believe that Netflix has picked up the Song Joong Ki-led drama series for international viewership and it may take years before that happens.

While it is not impossible, it is important to note that tvN and Netflix have not yet announced anything about the yet-to-be-confirmed Vincenzo Season 2. Hence, avid followers of the K-drama series should take these speculations with a huge grain of salt until everything is proven true and correct.

Vincenzo Star Song Joong Ki Lands Another Vengeful Role In Upcoming Fantasy Drama

As fans patiently wait for updates on the rumored Vincenzo Season 2, Song Joong Ki has already been confirmed to lead another forthcoming K-drama on JTBC. The former husband of Song Hye Kyo was confirmed to play the role of Yoon Hyun Woo in Chaebol Family's Youngest Son drama.

The new character of Song Joong Ki is someone who died after being framed for embezzlement by the Sunyang Group family that he had been working for several years. Interestingly, Yoo Hyun Woo will be reborn as the youngest son named Jin Do Joon, who will work very hard to take over the clan's company as revenge.

Aside from Song Joong Ki, Hospital Playlist actress Shin Hyun Been and Lee Sung Min were also confirmed to appear on Chaebol Family's Youngest. Hyun Been will take on the role of prosecutor Seo Min Young while Sung Min is confirmed to play Jin Yang Chul.

The imminent new Song Joong Ki-lead K-drama will be directed by Jung Dae Yoon of W and She Was Pretty, and written by Kim Tae Hee of A Beautiful Mind and Sungkyunkwan Scandal. Chaebol Family's Youngest is scheduled to be released sometime in 2022 via JTBC and, most probably, on Netflix.
