
The official cast members, including Girl's Day Hyeri, and premiere date for the upcoming Korean film Victory have been confirmed.
Victory is a new Korean youth film directed by Park Beom Soo. It depicts the story of the cheerleading squad Millennium Girls from Geoje Commercial High School.
The film focuses on eight members of the squad, each of whom has their own distinct personality. The dramatic narrative of the movie is told against the backdrop of 1999 and focuses on two close friends named Pil-Seon and Mina. Their goal is to be able to dance, so they decide to put together a cheerleading squad.
Girl's Day Hyeri portrays the lead character in new Korean film Victory
Girl's Day Hyeri, who made a strong impression with her performance as Deok-Seon in the Kdrama Reply 1988, will play the part of Pil-Seon. She is a high school student who is introduced to the world of cheerleading. Hyeri will guide the narrative with her one-of-a-kind and delightfully spirited energy throughout the film.
On the other hand, the participation of Park Se Wan, former gugudan member Hyeyeon, Choi Ji Soo, Baek Ha Yi, Kwon Yu Na, Yeom Ji Young, Lee Han Joo, and Park Hyo Eun were confirmed on March 6 by the film's production team.

Park Se Wan, who has demonstrated her formidable acting skills in the works 6/45 and Life is Beautiful, will breathe life into the character of Pil-Seon's best friend, Mina.
Jo Aram will play the part of Se-Hyun, a transfer student from Seoul who used to be a cheerleader and engages in a tense battle of nerves with Pil-Seon. The former gugudan member made her acting debut in the Kdrama The Killer's Shopping List.
Additionally, Yeom Ji Young, Lee Han Joo, and Park Hyo Eun will play as the other members of the Millenium Girls. Choi Ji Soo, who has actively participated in the Kdramas Juvenile Justice and Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist 2, Baek Ha Yi from True Beauty and Imitation, and Kwon Yu Na from Another Child and 30 But 17, are also members of the cheerleading group.

Korean Film Victory Release Date
The filming for the upcoming Korean film Victory has only started on March 4, which means that it will not be premiering anytime soon this year. However, depending on the speed of filming and final editing of the movie, we can expect to see the movie in theater sometime in the first quarter of 2023.
