In Girlfriend, Girlfriend Episode 1, Even If That Isn't the Right Way, we see the happy couple, Naoya and Saki but being clingy, the actions of Naoya, who is clearly thankful going out with her, embarrass Saki. As for Nagisa, she confesses to Naoya how she likes him and while he finds her attractive, he has his eyes laid on Saki. Nagisa accepts such a fact and agrees that they date both of them at once.
Saki and Nagisa meet each other and the former recognize how cute Nagisa is and they all spend the day with each other. At night, Naoya tells Saki what his intentions are, one which pissed Saki off. Still, she agrees to the setup.
